The legendary Opus Moreschi, holder of such records as Fastest Time To Make A ShamWow Cocktail and Most Neckties Worn At Once, wowed a packed house at last night’s World Record Appreciation Society #11 by setting a record for Most Adjectives Stuck To A Person’s Body. The unofficial count was 409 adjectives.
World Record Appreciation Society #12 will take place on Tuesday, February 16th at Joe’s Pub in NYC. Confirmed record setters include Reggie Watts and The New Yorker’s Ben Greenman.

We saw a plethora of outstanding Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare and Kickstarter records this year. Our favorite was Ben Green’s  Most Consecutive Tweets Using Every Letter Of The Alphabet, which combined social media and storytelling in a truly innovative manner. Will any of you wordsmiths out there dare try and beat it?
